Jon joined Global Switch in 2022 as Group Director, Strategic Accounts and Networks with over 25 years’ experience of leading multi-national teams to drive sales and revenue in the data centre and managed services industries.
Prior to joining Global Switch, Jon was Managing Director of a London data centre, where he established the brand, grew the business and successfully concluded its sale to a private equity fund in 2022. Previously he was Enterprise Sales Director for Daisy Group, the UK’s largest independent telecoms and cloud company, and before this he was Sales Director National Accounts for Azzurri (now part of Maintel), another independent telecoms company in the UK, providing unified communications for its customers, where he consistently delivered improved growth and customer satisfaction.
Jon holds an BEng (Hons) Engineering with Business Studies from Sheffield Hallam University.
Jon is responsible for the Strategic Accounts and Networks team. His main focus is to increase business from key customers ensuring that they are aware of our all our locations (both existing and planned), our products and services, as well as positioning our offering to meet their specific needs. He is also responsible for Global Switch’s network and connectivity strategy including both the physical infrastructure and commercial approach at a group wide level.
