Yu Jie joined Global Switch in 2019 as Group Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, with his nearly 10 years’ financial related experience and moved to his current role in 2023.
Before joining Global Switch, Yu Jie was Vice General Manager of Shagang Commerce Co., Ltd, (a subsidiary of Jiangsu Shagang Group Co., Ltd, one of the largest private steel companies in China and a Fortune 500 company) and was in charge of the Finance Department, Risk Management and Audit Department, Administration and Human Resources Department. Prior to this, Yu Jie was Deputy General Manager and Senior Business Manager in Shagang International (Singapore) PTE LTD.
Yu Jie joined Global Switch in 2019 as Group Director, Financial Planning and Analysis where he was responsible for financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis across the Group.
Yu Jie received a FMBA Degree from Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance, a Master Degree of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and holds Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designations.
Yu Jie is responsible for the Internal Audit across the Group. He manages the internal process audit and efficiency and effectiveness improvements. In addition, Yu Jie monitors and benchmarks company performance, both internally and externally, progresses with ESG initiatives against stated commitment, and grows our bench strength by enhancing HR processes.
